Event Description
This event is designed for novices to get lots of seat time and one-on-one time with an instructor riding along with them in their own car. There will be 'classroom' time to learn the proper lines, techniques, and how to read the courses as well as lots of in-car time. Space is limited for this event to ensure there is as much one-on-one time with an instructor as possible, so be sure to pre-register in advance. Keep in mind that registration for this event closes on February 29, 2012. Also be sure to register for the actual AutoCross event the following day to put your newly acquired skills to use!
Retama Park is located on the Northeast side of San Antonio, right off of I-35, slightly north of Loop 1604, but just south of Evans Rd.
The timeline/schedule of events will remain the same as a normal event -- please visit the SASCA website for additional information (http://www.sasca.org)
Notice: The Pit area will be at the west end of the large main parking lot in front of the facility. (Please reference the map link via the AXWare ORM system). You will need to enter the facility via the entrance closest to I-35. All other entrances will be blocked off.
NOTE: NO WALK UP REGISTRATIONS ALLOWED FOR THIS EVENT! PRE-REGISTER AND PRE-PAY ON LINE!
